He is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts student & special faculty lecturer at California Institute of the Arts within their Performer-Composer program.
Jeffrey’s artistic research practice showcases perspectives on reality, desire, imagination, and identity, inspired by his personal autobiographical experiences and those of others. In his artistic practice, he functions as a digital storyteller. The events of his life become unique material for the creation of audio journals, digital stories, music, sound art, posters, and other text-based works.
Jeffrey's primary field is in multimedia arts through the practice of music & sound. Other fields he is interested in are practical theology, digital humanities, and curatorial practices, which have expanded his artistic research capabilities. A core value within Jeffrey's work is the creation of self-actualizing experiences for individuals and communities that encourage self-discovery and interpersonal reflection.
